Placement ideas..

After graduating from university I strive to dive into the art world, as for the past few years, art has become more and more part of my life style, so combining my passion with a potential career is ideal. Being an artist is not as simple as it seems, but the challenges, process and trial and error, will make the experience more inspiring and worthwhile.

I aspire to be a self employed artist who is able to do the work they enjoy doing and hopefully get recognition from it. By travelling the world and meeting people from different ethnicities and cultures motivates me to engage in conversations and collaborate with them. I would also like to do some commissions on the side, have a little hobby on the go, starting off local then slowly expanding internationally. 

As a starting point I believe that the best way to understand how to become a self employed artist is to learn from an artist that has knowledge and experiences to share. I think it would be interesting to become an artist's assistant, giving me a sense of what is like being in the art world.
