Trip To Amsterdam
Monday 18th March - Thursday 22nd March
My friends from university and I decided to go to Amsterdam for 4 days. We used these days to visit as many art galleries as possible as well as cruising through the beautiful canals. Here area few images of the amazing city and its goodness.
The Moco Museum
The Moco museum contains a wide range of contemporary art such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Basquiat and many more. Being able to physically be in this museum was a very memorable experience, amazed by the hard work of well known artist which receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve.

The Modern Art museum
I have never been so overwhelmed in regards to art! The modern Art museum had such vast collection of art I did not know where to start. My blog post does not do this museum justice, but being in the there made me feel so honoured and inspired.
The Van Gogh Museum
Due to copyright and other reasons, it was not permitted to take any pictures of Van Gogh's paintings. This, for me, was a positive thing, as it allowed me to take my time and pay close attention to his paint application and other detail that phone cameras would probably miss. Overall this was my favourite visit! The walls were full of text explaining and narrating his art journey as well as his life. My favourite stage was his experimental stage, where he began to travel, meeting different artists and adopting their techniques. But within his paintings, he never lost his signature painting style, but was in fact influenced by his peers. This would be something I will consider in my art career, as I would love my art to expand and transform.
Magnifying the art of Van Gogh and his incredible paint application
